Production Manager

Summary

The Production Manager is responsible for ensuring that all shifts and staff at Client and UCBZeroWaste (UCB) facilities are completed safely productively accurately and completely. This function must produce outcomes that maximize the financial and environmental effect for the entire UCB site. From Monday to Friday this individual will enforce all company/industry regulations policies and standards on a crew of ten workers while also using critical thinking abilities to handle problems and difficulties as they emerge. This person will also be highly proactive in researching and implementing ideas to improve efficiency staff retention and product quality while staying within a facility budget.

Responsibilities

• Working/leading in a capacity to keep ones self the facility and others safe
• Enforcing all fire codes OSHA GMP and safety policies/procedures.
• Manage shift leaders by submitting a Shift Report at the end of each shift. These reports must be examined on a daily basis so that the Production Manager may either assist with what is needed or escalate any issues to the National Operations Manager as needed.
• Checking all facility paperwork for completeness before submitting it to the Operations Team.
• Responsible and accountable for ensuring that each shift/team leader on each shift completes their job duties with 100% accuracy.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
