Job Description

Ideal Production Manager will oversee manufacturing processes and ensure production meets quality and efficiency standards.


Requirements

Plan and organize production schedules
Oversee production processes and manage production personnel
Ensure products are manufactured on time and within quality standards
Monitor production costs and implement costsaving measures
Collaborate with other departments to improve production processes
Maintain a safe working environment for all employees
Mechanical knowledge
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
Experience in a warehouse setting
Ability to assemble and fabricate products
Familiarity with forklift operation
Continuously monitor promote and improve food safety and product quality on shift
Oversee the adherence to and improvement of PGPI GMP s standards and best practice
Lead the production team to complete the weekly schedule adhering to the standard
Manage personnel raw material and packaging
Prepare reports
Monitor personnel schedules metrics per shifts
Maintain constant communication with other departments such as EHS Quality
Assurance Maintenance Logistics Senior Management Customer Service Finance Planning and Engineering
Prior experience with Food Safety Organic NonGMO GlutenFree Kosher Halal and various contractors preferred
Bachelor s degree in Engineering Science(s) Operations or any technical training or equivalent working experience
Prior Food manufacturing experience
Prior management or leadership experience
Extrusion or Bakery Manufacturing experience
Excellent ProblemSolving skills and Continuous Improvement
Microsoft Office Software (Excel PowerPoint Word etc.
Extrusion milling and/or food processingrelated technical skills
HACCP PCQI Allergen management Sanitation Environmental
Forklift license desirable
