- Responsibility for meeting the team's quality goals and ensuring that the employees perform the required quality checks
- Responsibility for meeting the team's output goals
- Responsibility for making adjustments (Setup) and conversions to the machines operated by the team
- Responsibility for the reliability of inventory data and work order reports in relation to outputs, inputs and in-process inventory existing in the factory MFG system, and in relation to the activities performed by the team under his responsibility
