Product Manager

Summary

The Product Manager will create the product vision strategy and roadmap for the Cabinets Shelving & Totes (CST) product line overseeing the product lifecycle from conception to product launch. This position will be the product expert for the category providing indepth knowledge of the market and product performance.

In This Position You Will Have the Opportunity To:

• Develop the product vision strategy and roadmap for the CST (Cabinet Shelving & Totes) product line.
• Monitor performance against company KPI s to determine actions and strategies to improve the overall product line performance.
• Maintain product lifecycle including detailed end of life plans to meet sales profitability and inventory goals.
• Make new product development recommendations or existing product enhancements to manage the overall health of existing product lines and product categories including initial forecasts.
• Lead product design and its alignment to customer and consumer needs
• Analyze the financial technological and other trends affecting the present and future needs of customers and products.
• Develop and maintain product expertise and leadership to both internal and external customers.
• Provide recommendations for continued growth cost management and pricing (sales and retail).
• Lead product line reviews and assortment development.
• Project manage and lead a crossfunctional project team to meet customer requirements and customization requests.
• Research the market and provide regular updates for product lines including retail promotions channel distribution and competitive analysis. Actively manage channel conflict.
• Maintain all product specifications testing and claims and publish to internal and external audiences.
• Maintain project lists and seasonal calendars for product lines.
• Participate in R&D and Marketing budget management.
• Create art for packaging online instore and cobranded advertising and collaborate appropriately if privately branded with customers. Manage all digital assets.
• Manage all patent activity and defense thereof.
• Lead item set up within Keter and the customer.

Requirements :

What You Need to Succeed in This Position:

• A minimum of 35 years of experience in Product Management
• An understanding of the processes involved in product development packaging development market research and sales
• Demonstrated project management and planning skills
• Superior interpersonal and crossfunctional persuasion skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills able to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
• The ability to work through issues related to manufacturing product development and packaging
• SAP experience an major plus

Education and Certification

• Bachelor s degree in business and / or marketing
