Job description
Creating innovative designs and products
Transforming concepts into finished products that achieve agreed functional and performance outcomes
Evaluating products to determine if they meet functional and performance criteria
Assessing new technologies and their application to new designs and products
Data analysis to assess performance against design specifications
Working closely with Engineering team members Product Managers and other stakeholders
Achieve project objectives (eg. time budget performance Design for Manufacture)
Replying emails to clients and taking meetings with stakeholder
Working on new products and technologies
Preferred candidate profile
Degree qualified in Industrial Design or Mechanical Engineering highly desirable
0 1 year experience in engineering design experience.
Experience designing products for manufacture (beneficial but not compulsory)
Experience in aftermarket automotive or industrial design.(beneficial but not compulsory)
Advanced concept generation design and drafting skills (SolidWorks or Catia/ Inventor)
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently
