Job Overview: Our client school invites applications for a dedicated Primary Years Programme (PYP) Teacher. As part of our committed team youll inspire young minds by delivering an engaging and challenging curriculum that is inquirybased and aligned with the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy. We seek passionate educators who believe in fostering curiosity creativity and a love for learning in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active inquirybased learning.
• Implement the PYP curriculum framework in alignment with the schools mission the IB philosophy and educational best practices.
• Develop lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students incorporating effective use of technology and handson learning experiences.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of student progress using various assessment tools and strategies to inform instruction and promote student success.
• Collaborate with PYP team members specialists and the wider school community to plan and execute interdisciplinary units of inquiry.
• Foster a nurturing and supportive classroom environment that respects student diversity and encourages collaborative learning.
• Engage with parents and the school community to support student learning and development.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and schoolwide initiatives related to the IB PYP.
• Uphold the IB learner profile attributes and encourage students to embody these qualities in their learning journey.

Qualifications:

• Applicants MUST have the right to live and work in the EU
• Bachelors degree in Education or relevant field; Masters degree preferred.
• Valid teaching certification/license NOT TESFL/TESOL
• Proven experience in delivering an inquirybased curriculum with preference given to candidates with IB PYP teaching experience.
• Strong understanding of the developmental social and academic needs of primary school students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage students colleagues and parents effectively.
• Proficiency in using technology to enhance learning.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team environment.
