About the department:

The Marketing Department within BYD is responsible for developing and implementing tailored marketing strategies specific to the European region and create comprehensive plans that resonate with the European target audience. Our team works collaboratively to optimize brand visibility increase market share and drive business growth within the European market.

As PR Specialist (Position) you will:

The PR Specialist reports directly to the PR Section Manager.

The PR Specialist is responsible to build the brand and drive sales in local market by working closely with the Marketing & Communication Manager and build solid relations with Media Agencies Press local institutions and support the dealer network.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the Execution of national advertising and PR campaigns.
• In charge of the implementation of marketing plans aligned with European Marketing and PR Team.
• Maintain good cooperative relationships with press media digital influencers etc. dock PR communication resources and channels develop media resources and ensure visibility of brand and product stories.
• Press release writing coordinate with PR agency distribution monitoring.
• Focus on the content output of various media channels monitor public opinion.
• Monitor publicity and conduct research.
• Ensure test drive facilities for Press Media Social media influencers and leasing companies
• Actively engage and Collaborate on any European event or activity as needed.
• Cooperate with the companys project and promote PR events and content analyze the effect of the activities and integrate the information feedback into the activity process.
• Responsible for development PR communication resources.
• Be a brand Ambassador and work always with the Customer in mind.

Your profile:

1. University Degree in Marketing Sales or commercial disciplines.
2. Solid Experience in Automotive industry or Branded Public Relations field.
3. 3 years of experience in roles related to PR & Communication management in Automotive business.
4. Excellent Digital Tools knowledge.
5. Customeroriented mindset.
6. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
7. Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills.
8. Resilient and open minded.
9. Results oriented. Ability to work to deadlines hands on approach motivated to get results.
10. Effective and eloquent communicator in English is mandatory (French and/or Mandarin Chinese would be a plus).
