Power BI MSBI SQL Developer

Job Description:

Responsibilities/Duties: (in brief) (List the essential duties and responsibilities of the job.)

• Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights
• Creation of Dashboards & Visual Interactive Reports using Power BI
• Create relationships between data sources and develop data models accordingly
• Have good knowledge of the various DAX functions and queries
• Awareness of star and snowflake schemas in DWH and DWH concepts
• Knowledge in Tabular Models
• SSIS - Used Control Flow Tasks like For Loop Container, For Each Loop Container, Sequential Container, Execute SQL Task, and Data Flow Task in Designing packages. Data Transformations like Lookup, Derived Column, Conditional Split, sort, data Conversion, Union All, Merge Join, SCD and OLEDB Command to load data into SQL Server destination.
• SSRS - Generating complex reports like Tabular, Matrix, Chart, Drill Through, Drill Down, Sub and Parameterized reports in SSRS.
• Should be able to work independently with analysis of production issue/troubleshooting.
• Able to work independently in rotational shifts.
• Understanding business functionality of the application
• Provide clarifications on bridge calls for critical incidents.
• Ontime delivery as per agreed ETAs
• Ensure quality of deliverables
• Demonstrate good spoken, written and prompt communication.
• Identify areas of improvement and propose solutions for implementation.
• Experience on Production Support and interacting with Customer would be value add.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Should have good interpersonal and communication skills.
