Job Description
Job Title: Power BI Developer
Experience Level: 3 years
Candidate Location: Mumbai
Ready to work in Flexi shift/extended shift based on project.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in computer science (with an Accounting background)
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Power BI Developer
Proficiency in designing and implementing complex Dashboard using Power BI
PowerBI certifications is mandatory.
Role Responsibilities
Power BI Development:
Advanced proficiency in creating interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop.
Extensive experience in connecting to various data sources transforming data using Power Query and creating complex data models with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
Data Modelling:
Expertise in designing and implementing efficient data models to support complex reporting requirements.
Solid understanding of relational database concepts and experience with data warehouse design.
DAX (Data Analysis Expressions):
Advanced skills in writing complex DAX formulas for creating calculated columns measures and calculated tables.
Experience in optimizing DAX queries for better performance.
Power Query:
Proficient in using Power Query for data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes.
Ability to work with M language for advanced data transformations.
Data Visualization:
Ability to create compelling and effective data visualizations choosing appropriate charts and graphs for different types of data.
Understanding of best practices in data visualization for effective communication.
Power BI Service:
Handson experience with Power BI Service for sharing publishing and collaborating on reports and dashboards.
Knowledge of Power BI workspaces sharing settings and security features.
Power BI Embedded:
Familiarity with Power BI Embedded for embedding reports and dashboards into custom applications.
SQL:
Proficient in writing SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis.
Experience in optimizing SQL queries for performance.
ETL Processes:
Knowledge of Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools for data integration.
Data Governance:
Understanding of data governance principles including data quality data lineage and data security.
Advanced Analytics:
Familiarity with advanced analytics concepts and techniques including forecasting clustering and regression analysis.
Problem Solving:
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to translate business requirements into effective Power BI solutions.
Version Control:
Experience with version control systems for managing Power BI report versions and changes.
Integration:
Experience in integrating Power BI with other Microsoft products and services such as Azure services.
Communication Skills:
Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders understand business requirements and present insights from the data.
Project Management:
Basic project management skills including the ability to manage timelines prioritize tasks and work effectively in a team.
Documentation:
Ability to create comprehensive documentation for Power BI solutions including data models reports and dashboards.

Qualifications and Skills: Graduate or Postgraduate in Commerce / CA Final Drop out Minimum experience of 3-4 years. in Finance and accounting Candidates with a knowledge of Zoho Books is a must. Knowledge of Quick Books would be an added advantage. Must possess a strong knowledge of Advanced Excel. Candidates having Knowledge of Power Query, VBA macros or other data analytics software would be preferred. Must be comfortable learning and implementing new technology solutions Must have excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with interdepartmental teams across all levels in the Organization; Should possess a strong process orientation and a work ethic that focuses on the thoroughness of approach, precision, and attention to detail;
