Nowa Tepro sp. z o.o., with its office and factory in Gdansk, specializes in the engineering, assembly and commissioning of automation systems for the assembly and testing of electric vehicle (EV) batteries, e-motors and other car components. The end customers of our assembly lines and stations include the world s most well-known automotive OEMs and EV battery producers, for whom our team of approximately 60 colleagues has delivered and commissioned assembly equipment all over the world. The destinations where our team gets to travel in order to deliver our products include Poland, Germany, Spain, the UK, China, the US, Canada, Mexico and Brazil.
Since 2022, we are part of the Lyric Robot Group, an internationally leading EV battery manufacturing equipment producer with over 10000 employees. We aim to build up our engineering and manufacturing capacities together with our mother company Lyric Automation Germany GmbH based in Hamburg, Hannover and Munich.
To reinforce our great team in Gdansk, we are looking for you, immediately or by your availability: PLC Programmer (m/w/d)
Tasks
- Project planning and programming of PLC controls and control systems for equipment and machines.
- Creation of user-specific hardware and software.
- Preparation of specifications and equipment documentation.
- Carrying out internal and external commissioning of equipment and automation solutions.
- Programming of PLC software (Omron, Siemens S7, TIA Portal, Allen Bradley RC Logix)
- Configuration and creation of visualisation interfaces.
- Carrying out product and process-related function tests.
- Technical clarification of control and automation solutions during the quotation and project phase.
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies as a bachelor, master or diploma engineer in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology, control engineering or control technology.
- Alternatively, as a certified electrical engineering or mechatronics technician and have completed training as a master electrician, power system electronics technician or PLC specialist.
- Advanced knowledge of PLC programming for automation equipment.
- Very good written and spoken English; Chinese and German are advantages.
- Ideally has already gained some professional experience.
- Independent, team-oriented, customer-oriented and responsible way of working.
- Sensitivity and open-mindedness in dealing with different cultures.
- Willing to take business trip worldwide.
- High degree of flexibility, commitment and ability to work under pressure.
