Position Summary

To provide the best use of time and material. Operators will also take part in all responsibilities associated with the department that they are working in. This may include assisting the Robot welder Sheet Metal and Heavy Fab areas.

Position Responsibilities

Review and plan according to Foreman Reports
Work with Supervisor and lead on proper job information for production needs
Operate equipment (This includes overhead crane using hand tools and debur station).
Inspect and verify the material is free of defects when loading/Unloading the table
Assist maintenance with troubleshooting machine breakdowns and administer daily/weekly/monthly preventative maintenance
Perform first article check
Report defective parts
Accurate login and logout from jobs and operations
All other duties assigned

Knowledge/Skills
Basic computer knowledge
Basic math skills
Ability to collaborate with a multidepartment team
Ability to read blueprints and tape measure

Work Environment

Manufacturing environment. Is expected to be highly familiar with all production operations. Continuous lifting of 50 pounds. Standing for long periods throughout the day.
