Job Descriptions

• Provides direct and indirect patient care duties under the guidance and direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Responsible for implementing components of the plan of care based on physical psychosocial and spiritual needs.
• Provides comfort safety and emergency measures; activities of daily living: personal care needs nutritional and elimination needs.
• Measures vital signs performs ECGs and capillary blood glucose needs.
• Observes and reports the functioning of equipment the results of treatments condition of dressings and any change in patient condition.
• Incorporates the concepts of the Hospitals Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities (i.e. confidentiality responsiveness caring).
• Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.
• Adheres to policies and procedures of the department.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Experience
1 Year experience in a patient care role (Preferred)

License/Certifications
BLS Basic Life Support AHA (Required)
