Purpose of the job

As a Paralegal at Collinson you will play a crucial role in supporting our Legal Counsel in various legal matters.

The primary focus will be supporting a new project which is the successful delivery of the Docusign CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) across all of Collinsons entities globally.

You will be responsible for conducting legal research drafting documents and assisting in the management of legal processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and detailoriented individual to contribute to a fastpaced and collaborative legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

Legal Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough legal research on various topics relevant to the companys operations.
  • Analyse statutes regulations and case law to provide comprehensive and accurate information.

Document Drafting and Review:

  • Assist in the drafting and review of legal documents including contracts agreements and other legal correspondence.
  • Ensure documents comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Case Management:

  • Assist in the preparation of legal strategies and arguments.
  • Maintain organised case files and documentation.
  • Coordinate with external counsel as necessary.

Compliance Support:

  • Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and update internal stakeholders accordingly.
  • Assist in ensuring companywide compliance with legal requirements.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support to the Legal Counsel including managing calendars scheduling meetings and handling correspondence.

Knowledge skills and experience required

Qualifications:

A bachelors degree in Law or related field.

Previous experience as a Paralegal in a corporate environment is preferred.

Strong understanding of UK legal principles and procedures.

Excellent research writing and analytical skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
