Our client specializes in manufacturing steel roofing and sidings custom steel trims wood trusses and laminated columns for postframe buildings. Responsibilities:
Build and cultivate strong lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Identify emerging markets and shifts staying informed about new products and competitors in the industry.
Answer telephones process orders and collaborate with the delivery coordinator.
Proactively contact customers to generate additional sales and meet monthly quarterly and annual sales goals.
Develop a consistent pipeline of new business through effective lead followup.
Stay updated on construction processes and building materials to provide accurate information and recommendations.
Document interactions with prospects and customers using standardized tracking tools.
Lead engaging sales presentations for individuals and decisionmaking groups.
Collaborate with internal teams including branch management project management design finance and others to ensure success.
Qualifications:
Key:
1 year(s) of proven sales experience.
Demonstrated ability to communicate present and influence effectively at all organizational levels.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of the construction space
Strong knowledge of construction building materials and Post Frame Structures.
Detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closure.
Effective collaboration with Production Logistics and Finance.
