Our client is a major manufacturer of garments with factories and mills in Asia. They are now looking to set up a design office in Spain to cater to their Spanish customer base ( Inditex El Cortes Ingles etc).

They are now looking for a skilled outerwear designer to join their team. This is a hybrid/flexible role but requires you to be based in Spain and frequently visit your customers so proximity to Madrid or Coruna region would be great.

Outerwear Designer: The role:

You will be the creative lead on outerwear category working across parka padded bomber down filled jackets across mens ladies and kids areas

You will build collections work with the factories in Asia to develop these ranges and present to buyers /customers

Create tech packs with details around fabrics trims etc

You will travel to trade shows and put together inspiration/mood boards

You will also support fabric sourcing and selection and be commercially responsible for achieving desired price points

The ideal candidate:

Will have a trendy fashionable handwriting well suited to the Spanish /European market

Will ideally have multiproduct outerwear experience working in Spain

Will be fluent Spanish and English speaker

Will be eligible to live and work in Spain
