Performance monitoring and analysis:
i. Establish and maintain performance monitoring systems for renewable energy projects.
ii. Analyze performance data including power production availability downtime and other related
metrics to identify trends patterns and anomalies.
iii. Conduct regular performance testing to ensure compliance with project specifications and
contractual obligations.
iv. Monitor and evaluate the impact of external factors such as weather conditions and network
integration on project performance.
v. Remotely monitor realtime performance and operational parameters of renewable energy
projects.
vi. Identify and diagnose technical problems or anomalies affecting project performance.
vii. Coordinate with field technicians and engineers to troubleshoot problems ensuring minimal
downtime.
viii. Create comprehensive performance reports and present results to internal and external
stakeholders.
Optimize performance:
ix. Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance of renewable energy projects.
x. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including engineering operations and maintenance to
identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
xi. Perform root cause analysis of underperforming assets and develop corrective action plans.
xii. Recommend and implement process improvements and best practices to improve project
performance.
xiii. Analyze data trends and performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
xiv. Continuously monitor project performance and recommend adjustments to operational
parameters for maximum efficiency.
Data Management and Systems:
xv. Oversee the collection storage and analysis of performance data using appropriate software
tools and systems.
xvi. Collaborate with IT teams to enhance data management systems and reporting capabilities.
xvii. Implement advanced data analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights and drive informed decisionmaking.
xviii. Generate comprehensive reports on the performance of renewable energy projects including
KPIs metrics and recommendations for optimization.
Integration and configuration:
xix. Integrate remote monitoring systems into renewable energy projects ensuring transparent data collection and transmission.
xx. Configure the monitoring system to capture data points and relevant parameters specific to each renewable energy project.
xxi. Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful implementation of the monitoring system.
Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering Renewable Energy or related field.
Proven experience in performance management and optimization of renewable energy projects
including solar BESS or other related technologies.
Good analytical skills and proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data.
Knowledge of performance monitoring systems and software tools used in the renewable energy
industry.
Be familiar with remote monitoring systems SCADA systems and data acquisition systems.
Be familiar with energy production and performance measurement for renewable energy projects.
Understanding of the key factors affecting project performance including technical environmental and operational aspects.
Ability to perform root cause analysis and develop actionable recommendations.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet
deadlines.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support project locations.
Holder of a valid passport and drivers license.
