Job Title: Onsite Engineer

Location: Hagerstown, MD

Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description:

• Lead Engineering Projects from Onsite for product development & improvement
• Day to day Onsite-Offshore coordination for Design activities
• Update existing Engineering documentation to match as built-in production
• Perform Quality review of Offshore deliverables
• Discuss and collect Part Fitment, BOM & Process issues from Manufacturing lines
• Develop concepts and new solutions to overcome Manufacturing Process Challenges.
• Coordinate and lead design reviews with engineering, production, safety & material teams
• Support Product Testing & Proto Built.
• Coordinate with Sourcing teams for identifying suppliers for new designed parts.
• Onsite-Offshore coordination for design Tasks.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• 6-10 years of experience in NPD with component design and drawing creation
• Experience in Manufacturing Process
• Experience in designing of Fabricated, Sheetmetal & Welded Structures.
• Good knowledge of specifying tolerances using GD&T
• Awareness in Design for manufacturing, assembly, and services requirements (DFX)
• Team player and self-driven/Motivated
• Good Communication and interpersonal skills
• Cad Tools: CREO, Windchill
• Experience in Co-ordinating /managing projects in Onsite-Offshore Model
