Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist for our in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will work with patients to help them overcome physical mental or emotional barriers that affect their ability to engage in daily activities and improve their quality of life. Job Overview:

• Conducting assessments to evaluate patients physical cognitive and emotional abilities.
• Developing individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals
• Providing therapy to improve patients fine motor skills coordination and independence in daily activities.
• Educating patients and their families about strategies and equipment to support independence.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals such as physicians nurses and social workers to provide comprehensive care.
• Monitoring and documenting patients progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Advocating for patients rights and access to services

Working Hours: 5 days over 7day period with varying shift patterns as agreed with the manager. However your contract will be for a minimum of 37.5 hours per week and there will be abundant extra hours.

Requirements: (As per below English)

• Bachelors or masters degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in the UK
• Relevant experience working as an Occupational Therapist preferably in a healthcare setting for at least 4 years.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing patientcentred care.
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
