Requirements
Develop and assess training programs for staff.
Create effective programs based on best practices.
Design materials using adult learning principles.
Collaborate with nursing leaders on orientation and competency programs.
Use standards to select program content.
Analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
Lead change initiatives and communicate vision effectively.
Stay informed about regulatory standards and change management.
Offer guidance and connect individuals with resources.
Stay informed about research and incorporate findings into activities.
Demonstrate professionalism and mentor colleagues.
Maintain clinical expertise through selfevaluation.
Experience:
Minimum two (2) years of education experience.
Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in specialty.
Education:
Bachelors degree in nursing.
License Certification Registration
Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
Basic Life Support within 1 month of hire
Additional Requirements:
Knowledge of current regulations and requirements (TJC OSHA OSBN)
Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member.
Demonstrated skills in didactic presentation.
Demonstrated time management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability with conflict resolution.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum three (3) years of leadership/management experience.
Minimum five (5) years of education experience.
Minimum five (5) years of clinical experience in acute care setting.
Masters in nursing with focus on clinical specialty.
Certification in specialty practice (Nursing Professional Development and/or clinical specialty).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
