Network EngineerIT Technical Analyst Network Infrastructure

• Shift US/UK (rotational) Shift Timing 5PM to 2 AM 11 PM to 8 AM (Rotational shift) Shift allowance will be provided apart from salary.
• Work from office for first 6 months and then hybrid 2 times a week for work from office
• FREE pick and drop cab service will be provided by the company 25km from office location. ( Cunningham Road )
• Interview schedule first and second round virtual last round F2F in person at Bangalore for local candidate virtual for out of city candidate

1. Strong Cisco R/S experience. HMI uses Nexus 7000 series switches ASR routers ASA firewall VSphere for virtualization F5 Load Balancers HP and Cisco UCS blade chassis.
2. Wireless design and implementation experience. Cisco WLC based 2602 APs global network 250 APs. Supportguest access at all sites.
3. Someone that comes with handson experience from a large enterprise background (5000 Employees) will be preferred.

• Network Engineer will be responsible for the design and implementation of the network used by Herman Miller Inc.
• Key design goals include reliability serviceability and scalability. Provides technical support for the network switches routers cable plant and RF equipment infrastructure devices used to enable communications within the corporation.
• Recognized for network expertise and sought as a resource for resolution of unique complex networking problems.

• Install and maintain network devices.
• Monitor the network environment and resolve network problems required to share oncall support i.e. 24x7 phone support.
• Develop and maintain network documentation and educate team members.

1. Assist in network planning engineering architecture and the development of standards.
2. Evaluate moderately complex existing network systems and make recommendations for improvement.
3. Develop detailed network specifications and configure network devices.
4. Assist in the evaluation of requests for new or modified network connectivity.
5. Document network procedures and processes completely and accurately.
6. Interface with vendors to identify and purchase hardware/software and evaluate new products as assigned.
7. Recommend alternative solutions to reduce costs or improve service and reliability.
8. Provide network expertise and knowledge to other members of the team in resolving complex network problems.
9. Plan network projects involving multiple disciplines impacting multiple business units.
10. Evaluate user requests and identify requirements.
11. Establish priorities.
12. Perform additional requirements as operations may require in support of achieving business objectives.

1. Bachelors degree in Information technology preferred or equivalent.
2. 6 years of experience is essential.
3. Cisco CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Certification.
4. Very strong oral and written communication skills.
5. Transaction Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network experience.
6. Experience with Cisco Juniper networking and software.
7. Working experience with wireless (802.11x) communications.
8. Experience with network management software and network tuning tools i.e. Wireshark Observer Orion and utilities.
9. Able to work flexible hours and in shifts; weekend and Sunday testing and coverage will be required as necessary; share 24x7 oncall support with other team members on rotation.
10. Able to travel (10% up to 20% may be required).
