Network Engineer

Manages the onsite delivering of software services installation and configuration for customer environments. The job solves various business systems networking and applications problems for standard industry servers specialized or complex clustered environments. Deliver reactive and proactive activities according to Service Level Agreement to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Applies basic knowledge of the job skills and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of assignments/tasks. Good understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job. Organizes own tasks and receives general instructions on all work.

Experience in using Management Systems for:

• Should have experience in VLAN Policy Based Routing NAT IP SLA Wireless IPSEC GRE SSL VPN and Security.

• Exposure to configure and support Routing and Switching technologies MPLS Network Security Data Center networks firewalls IDS IPS VPN load balancers

• Should have experience in handling Routing Protocols like RIP OSPF EIGRP BGP ISIS

• Should be able to identify network issues related to WEB Application DNS DHCP Active Directory and Radius Server.

• Knowledge on SDWAN and Scripting will be added advantage.

• Establishes and maintains network performance.

• Builds net configurations and connections.

• Troubleshoots network problems.

• IP address auditing.

• Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration and

  directing system installation.

• Defines documents and enforces system standards.

• Maximizes performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages and

  scheduling upgrades.

• Configuring router and switches.

• Updates data servers and network equipment.

• Collaborates with network architects on network optimization.

• Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and

  monitoring access.

• 35 years of experience in Network engineer role

• 2 years experience in providing 2nd& 3rd Level Network Support

• Cisco CCNP (Routing & Switching)

• 2 Years experience in Cisco LAN & WLAN (Cisco Catalyst Series IE3000/4000)

• 2 Years experience in Cisco Meraki LAN & WLAN
