The MRO & Capex Buyer is responsible for generating and coordinating purchasing strategies for MRO and Capex (engineering projects) as well as the procurement of new projects and optimizing existing company resources. This is to ensure that projects are completed on time and with the necessary inputs of machinery peripheral equipment molds electricity and materials according to company standards and customer needs aligned with the budget.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering Production or Business
- Experience in innovation processes
- Knowledge in strategic sourcing methodologies
- Experience in selecting preparing and executing relevant commercial agreements for the contracted category
Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, and project management. Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other relevant improvement methodologies is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide teams. Proficiency in data analysis tools and project management software. Working Conditions: This role may require occasional travel to various company locations or partner organizations. Flexible work hours to accommodate project needs and deadlines. The position may involve occasional extended work hours during critical project phases.
