Summary

  • Department: Magnetic Resonance Imaging
  • Shift timings: 19:00 07:30 Monday to friday (3 Days/12 Hours)
  • Per Week: 36 Hours
  • MRI Technologist (Thu/Fri/Sat)
  • 3 scanners 2GE 1Siemens


Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce crosssectional images of the body.
  • Perform patient prescreening scheduling and education related to the examination.
  • Enter and monitor patient data transfer images from disk to magnetic media to produce the transparency and develop film in an automatic processor.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure prompt submission of highquality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality correct lead markers and patient data/history).
  • Ensure equipment is properly functioning. Report potential problems or equipment malfunction toappropriate personnel.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department to include procedure rooms storage areas dressing rooms film storage area and any other areas in department.

Certifications & Clearance Requirements

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
