Role and Responsibilities:The Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team and ensuring the efficient management of schedules and sales documentation distribution. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the sales manager and team in managing schedules and distributing sales documentation and presentations.
- Preparing sales quotations for clients and ensuring timely followup.
- Acting as a liaison between various departments and clients to align services with client needs budget and timeline.
- Collaborating with the sales team to evaluate progress identify areas for improvement and develop effective sales strategies.
- Active participation in sales meetings providing updates on progress and presenting improvement strategies.
- Generating reports and minutes to track progress and highlight strategies for enhancing sales performance.
- Possessing a solid understanding of the freight forwarding business including processes terminology and best practices.
Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field with at least 2 years of experience in sales coordination within the freight forwarding industry. Strong communication organizational and analytical skills are essential for this role.
