Molding Technician - Overnights

The Molding Technician position is responsible for providing support with tasks such as machine startups, process trouble shooting, training, scrap reduction as well as any other tasks necessary to help ensure the Molding area is operating efficiently and safely to support our Company Mission.

Essential Functions:

• Strives to reduce scrap on designated jobs ($ jobs)
• Address or coordinate D status jobs as they relate to our RFA process
• Provide technical training and support to production
• Ensure processes are capable of meeting internal and external customer requirements
• Trouble shoot problem jobs using root cause analysis with focus on long term solutions
• Conduct research utilizing multiple information sources to accomplish the best solutions when trouble shooting or completing RFAs
• Establish scientific molding processes and / or document necessary changes made to existing approved molding processes in IQ log.
• Accurately document all molding and other Mfg. processes performed at the press.
• Provide guidance and coaching to CMO s in troubleshooting
• Follow all safety guidelines and rules
• Follow written work procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
