Float Requirements: CNA s will work with both the medical telemetry and IMC patients on Bean 5. They will float to other inpatient units. CNA s are also utilized in the companion role and will be required to sit with patients as a 1:1 companion as needed.

Equipment: Specific to our IMC patients: Ventilators BiPaP CPAP. Both IMC and Med Tele equipment: CPAP Nasal Cannula Non Rebreather Epidural pumps IV pumps specialty beds PCA pumps VAC dressings Trach care/maintenance multiple various bed surfaces and patient mobility equipment

Must Have Skills/Experience: Inpatient experience on previous med/surge level of care or higher

Preferred Skillset/Experience:

Type of Patients on Unit: Respiratory Medical Telemetry some surgical sepsis DKA Altered Mental Status Failure to Thrive Respiratory Failure and most any acute on chronic medical condition.
