Millwright - 433A Certified
A new opportunity is available for a local Industrial Millwright to join an established Operation in Thunder Bay. The Industrial Millwright will be responsible for maintaining the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment.
Millwrights can expect to be installing or dismantling machinery and equipment according to company plans, blueprints, and other diagrams, repairing malfunctioning equipment, such as motors, pumps, valves, controls, and other machines through the safe and effective use of hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools. The Industrial Millwright will also troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment. Millwrights will have:
- Applied math knowledge, mechanical and basic electrical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, etc.
- Sound understanding of conveyors, pumps, granulators, pneumatics, hydraulics, and working knowledge of industrial tools
- Experience with MIG, TIG and Arc welding an asset
- Familiarity with standard maintenance procedures, preventative maintenance schedules, basic documentation, and proper safety techniques
- Proven ability to maintain internal and regulatory policies, procedures, and requirements
Schedule
Day Shift, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on a 4 x 10 schedule. Overtime required occasionally.
Compensation
$28.00 - $38.00/hour based on previous experiences and licensing. Benefits include:
