Qualification and experience for Methods engineer.
BE / Diploma (Mechanical) or Diploma (Mechanical) with 35 years of experience
Experience in Manufacturing Aerospace Automotive Engineering Industries in Tier1 / OEM/Medium Scale Organisation/MSMEs
Experience in Process Planning CNC Machining Machining Processes Special Processes Tool Selection Manufacturing Processes.
Experience in AS 9100D ISO 27001 ISO 14001 ISO 45001 related to Quality Processes (preferable)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare Process Plan for all PED Parts and Assemblies including Process Sequence Estimated Hours Preferred Suppliers as per Customer Technical Specifications and Drawings.
Preparation of Route Card Job Card Configuration Setup Sheet Instruction Sheet Setup Sheet Programming NC Output Simulation Fixtures Special Tool Development
Support RFQ Process by providing Machine Hour Estimation and Process Sequence for PED Parts.
Summary of Functions
Responsible for Process Planning Route Card Job Card Configuration Setup Sheet Instruction Sheet Setup Sheet Programming NC Output Simulation Fixtures Special Tool Development Estimation for RFQs/Quotations Assembly Parts QA Coordination Outsourcing Support Issue Resolution and Trouble Shooting OTD Adherence for Methods Department Deliverables.
