Boson Motors is a Silicon Valley based startup focusing on farm automation. We are working on solving farming/agricultural automation challenges with our electric vehicles and computer vision.


We are seeking to add an experienced and dedicated mechanical vehicle test technician to our exciting team. the Vehicle Test Technician will be in the position of performing various kinds of tests on vehicles evaluating data and working with crossfunctional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Vehicle Testing:

Perform a variety of vehicle tests such as those for efficiency safety durability To ensure accurate and trustworthy results follow to established testing standards and procedures.

Data collection and instrumentation:

On test vehicles install adjust and maintain a variety of automobile systems and data gathering devices. Collect and analyze test data to identify any irregularities or problems.

Problem solving and analytical thinking:

When the problem occurs on test vehicles analyze and determine the root cause to solve the problem.

Defect identification and documentation:

Need to identify the defects before after and during the test.Maintain detailed records of testing procedures results and any issues encountered during vehicle validation

Collaboration:

Work closely with crossfunctional teams including engineers designers and quality assurance to understand testing requirements and objectives.

Requirements

Qualification:

  • Diploma or equivalent; associates or bachelors degree in automotive technology or a related field is preferred.

  • A minimum of two years of verified experience working as a vehicle test technician or in a related position in the automotive industry.

  • Strong knowledge of the engines transmissionsbrake rs and suspension of vehicles.

  • Previous experience with electric or hybrid vehicles.

  • Good written and verbal skills.

  • Excellent problemsolving skills.

  • Ability to interpret and analyze test data to identify trends and potential.


Note : It is mandatory to hold a fourwheeler license and have experience of driving a fourwheeler.
