Our client is the subsidiary of a conglomerate that specializes in the manufacturing and distribution of Alcoholic drinks Beverages liquor Wine and Spirit products.
The company is seeking to hire a skilled professional Mechanical Technician who will be responsible for assisting in the installation maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of machinery across various equipment.
Key Competency
Preventive Maintenance skills on Bottling Plant Equipments.
Good Handson Experience in Utility Equipments like Boilers DG Units GG Units
PRMS (CNG Unloading station) Forklifts Air Compressors Water Treatment ETP Boreholes etc. are mandatory.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to minimize Down Time (DT)
Data Capturing & Analyzing the performance of each section of Equipments.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings schematics and manuals.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to handle shift activities.
Fast Learner for change in developments in the Organization
Work under pressure to meet targets/deadlines.
Commitment to safety and adherence to established protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the installation of mechanical systems and equipment including Bottling equipment like rinsers Fillers Cappers Monoblock Filling Machines Labeller other machinery engines pumps conveyor systems and HVAC units following blueprints diagrams and manufacturer instructions.
Perform routine maintenance tasks on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns. This may include lubricating moving parts replacing worn components and conducting inspections for signs of wear or damage.
Troubleshoot mechanical problems diagnose issues with machinery or equipment and implement repairs to restore functionality. This may involve disassembling equipment replacing faulty parts and reassembling components.
Calibrate and adjust mechanical systems and instruments to ensure accuracy and precision in operation. This may involve testing and adjusting pressure temperature flow rates or other variables using specialized tools and equipment wherever applicable.
Conduct testing and inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential issues or malfunctions. This may include conducting performance tests measuring tolerances and recording data to assess the condition of equipment.
Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries. Ensure that all work is conducted in compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and equipment specifications. Document findings from inspections tests and troubleshooting procedures for reference and reporting purposes.
Work collaboratively with engineers supervisors and other team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems develop solutions and implement improvements to mechanical systems and processes.
Properly maintain and care for tools equipment and machinery used in mechanical maintenance and repair activities. Keep tools clean organized and in good working condition to ensure efficiency and safety.
Stay informed about advancements in mechanical technology tools and techniques through ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Pursue additional certifications or credentials to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
ND/HND in Mechanical Engineering or any related discipline
Solid experience in a Bottling Plant. At least 5 Yrs. is an added advantage/Highly recommended.
Work experience as Permanent Employee only Not Contract/3rd party engagement

Good Communication skills.
