Job description: DVT Manager / Sr. Manager ECAS

You will:

  1. Lead the functional verification and validation of eV subsystems such as chargers DCDC Converters Motor Drives Embedded Systems Software & ElectroMechanical assemblies.
  2. Prepare review & publish subsystem test plans/standards to verify compliance & performance against functional specifications.
  3. Execute tests in accordance with published plans/test standards & publish compliance/performance reports of subsystems with respect to functional specification.
  4. Participate in xFMEA FTA and design review sessions. Plan & carry out appropriate and adequate tests to verify & validate adequate and accurate retirement of all technical/application/integration risks for the respective subsystem(s).
  5. Collaborate with respective subsystem design team(s) on reported noncompliances/deviations to expected performance; debug and verify correction(s)/improvement(s) implemented against reported noncompliances through regression testing
  6. Drive and implement automation of DVT test(s) for subsystem(s).
  7. Lead verification and validation testing activities related to field failure analyses RCA & implementation of CAPA for subsystems
  8. Prepare publish review and execute tests to verify performance against functional requirements publish impact analysis report(s) against ECR(s) related to subsystem(s).
  9. Carry out worst case/cornercase tests to verify/measure robustness of for subsystem(s) design.

To be successful you will be expected to:

  1. Prepare review and publish consistently adequate accurate & appropriate test plans to verify compliance to functional requirements for respective subsystem(s).
  2. Comply with organizational development processes & practice
  3. Demonstrate consistent compliance to functional DVT test performance metrics such as test coverage test accuracy and test efficiency
  4. Be technically competent to independently publish test plans standards & procedures
  5. Meet targeted TTM quality and cost goals for the project while completing execution of verification and validation tests for subsystems
  6. Demonstrate expertise in subsystem testing/DVT practice through consistent and effective design & execution of test cases that help improve robustness of design(s)
  7. Reduce/Eliminate field issues through adequate appropriate and accurate verification/validation tests on subsystems
  8. Demonstrate improvement in efficiency coverage and accuracy of test systems & practices through seamless Implementation of automation

You must have:

  1. A degree (B.E/B.Tech) in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/Mechanical engineering.
  2. 815 years of experience in leading DVT activities on electrical/electronic/embedded systems/electro mechanical assemblies preferably in designs such as chargers DCDC Converters Motor Drives Embedded Systems Software & ElectroMechanical assemblies such as automotive switches lamps solenoids and sensors
  3. Demonstrated experience in using PLM tools and issue management tools such as JiRA
  4. In depth knowledge on subsystem functional specifications & testing standards/procedures
  5. Knowledge of testing standards related to environmental stress screening (ESS) Regulatory (AIS EN IEC) Vibration (IEC/EN) shock (IEC/EN) and drop test (IEC/EN) & safety requirements (AIS ISO26262 UL VDE)
  6. HandsOn experience & expertise in commissioning & using test equipment including but not limited to DMM DSO Network Analyzer Spectrum Analyzer Power Analyzer Protocol Analyzer DAQ systems Motor Dyno HIL systems BMS Emulators battery test system electronic Load Environmental chamber and awareness of their calibration requirements
  7. Proficient knowledge in problem solving methods such as RCA 8D report & FTA
  8. Demonstrated experience in communication & diagnostic protocols such as CAN LIN & UDS
  9. Hands on experience in using diagnostic tools like CANOe/CAN Analyser
  10. Sound knowledge on writing test cases in CAPL script/LabVIEW for test automation
  11. A passion for automotive electronics/eV and an awesome teamspirit
