InfraHire is looking for a Maintenance Technician in Oakland MS.
Job Description:
The role demands expertise and indepth comprehension of diverse machine systems encompassing but not restricted to mechanical systems electrical and high voltage systems PLC and controls systems hydraulic and pneumatic systems as well as welding and equipment fabrication within a food manufacturing plant.

The role demands expertise and indepth comprehension of diverse machine systems encompassing but not restricted to mechanical systems electrical and high voltage systems PLC and controls systems hydraulic and pneumatic systems as well as welding and equipment fabrication within a food manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains troubleshoots and repairs various production equipment systems and devices conducting regular preventive maintenance as scheduled.
- Conducts routine equipment checks and completes predictive checklists to identify early signs of potential equipment failures minimizing unplanned downtime and recognizing improvement opportunities. Collaborates with immediate supervisors and maintenance planners to schedule and develop inspection routines and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Handles new installations and relocations of both new and existing equipment as well as regular and emergency startups and shutdowns of equipment adhering to company standard operating procedures and safety requirements.
- Assists Team Leaders and line Operators in efficient line startup and equipment adjustments providing technical troubleshooting support to other maintenance department staff.
- Keeps supervisors and/or managers informed about ongoing work assignments offering consistent updates on project status completion time projections and addressing any problems that may arise during project execution.
- Performs highquality work adhering to industryaccepted maintenance practices to ensure compliance with external regulatory agencies.
- Continues to enhance maintenance technical skills in mechanical electrical controls hydraulic pneumatic welding and fabrication skillsets.
- Expands equipmentspecific knowledge for maintenance activities on various factory equipment including cook kettles pumps mixers food formers ovens fillers food assembly equipment fryers primary packaging equipment such as wrappers secondary packaging equipment such as formers and closers metal detectors and palletizing equipment.
Qualifications:
- 13 years of verified work experience in electrical/electronic systems mechanical systems hydraulic and pneumatic systems demonstrating a high level of proficiency in these areas.
- Proficient knowledge of standard manufacturing practices encompassing general safety lockout tagout forklift safety ARC Flash and electrostatic discharge awareness.
- Electrical skills in troubleshooting and repairing 480/230 v 3ph.120 v and 24v systems with the ability to comprehend schematics blueprints and PLC ladder logic.
- Capable of collaborating effectively with personnel at all levels either independently or within a team environment and particularly skilled in interfacing and communicating with line operators for repair and troubleshooting assistance. Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills as well as critical thinking and problemsolving abilities.
- Working knowledge of testing equipment and devices including the use of a Multimeter Thermal imaging camera and basic hand and power tools.
