Job Description:

Charter Arrow cast is hiring a Skilled Trades Team Member on Third Shift (MTH 9pm7am plus overtime as needed).

POSITION PURPOSE/MISSION:

Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor install maintain troubleshoot and repair all electromechanical systems of the plant in accordance with codes regulations and specifications ensuring minimum down time of the plant operations in accordance with company policies and procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Frequent standing and walking.
• Occasional sitting below waist level work balancing carrying reaching fine motor skills forceful motion and lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation as provided in detail in the Job Analysis Database.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Technical Degree in related field journeymans card or five plus years related experience as an industrial maintenance technician (electrical/mechanical).
• Ability to read and interpret complex documents such as wiring diagrams schematic drawings instructions safety rules codebooks and specifications.
• Broad knowledge of electrical codes and regulations electronic controls and devices and electrical/electronic theory.
• Ability to communicate oneonone effectively with employees with a strong focus on customer service.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra trigonometry and geometry.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting technical skills.
• Experience operating electrical and mechanical testing equipment.
• Ability to operate a variety of small hand and power tools.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment and welding / torch equipment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Allen Bradley PLC/Drive commissioning and troubleshooting experience.
• Siemens PLC/Drive commissioning and troubleshooting experience.
• AC/DC Motor Maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification or maintenance experience.
• Advanced hydraulic/pneumatic commissioning and troubleshooting experience.
