It is Sun Country Landscape intention to promote internally when possible. For that reason we are looking to find any individual interested in becoming an Account Manager.

Overview of position: This position is to expose an interested individual to the job position of Account Manager. It will involve shadowing of existing account managers introduction to estimating and proposal creation scheduling client contact both in person and formal contact in writing. Also included will be learning to interpret and understand various reports and financial data.

Requirements

Skills needed:

Positive outgoing enthusiastic attitude.

The ability to operate a motor vehicle.

The ability to walk for extended periods of time over rough terrain.

Solid fundamental understanding of commonly used landscape plants and materials.

Understanding of how and when to use and maintain common landscape tools and equipment.

Solid understanding of an irrigation system.

The ability to read and write English. Spanish speaking is a plus.

Comfortable and articulate in speaking and formal communication with coworkers clients vendors.

Functional use of Excel Word Adobe and other commonly used programs.

The ability to lead by example.

Be able to schedule your time effectively and hit deadlines or other obligations.

At the end of this training period roughly 24 months the successful completion of this exposure will have the potentially qualified for the next Account Manager position. That time frame is dictated by sales growth of the landscape maintenance division.
