Linux System Administrator

1. Installation/Configuration/Troubleshooting of Linux Operating system
2. Excellent Troubleshooting Skills on Linux and Vmware Operating System and hardware platform
3. Experience in Architecture/Design of Linux and Virtual Server Infrastructure
4. Good in Capacity Management.
5. Excellent skills in Scripting Automation of Installation (imaging).
6. Experience in Migration/Upgrade of Linux OS
7. Good troubleshooting knowledge on Linux OS Samba WMI CRON Time etc
8. Experience in Datacenter Operations Managing security permissions Backups and restoration.
9. Excellent listening skills & ability to communicate clearly and fluently in English
10. Hands on experience in Patch management life cycle
11. Support virtualization of Linux Servers using VMWare ESX Xen KVM or other similar hypervisor technology;
12. Configure and maintain High Availability (HA) Servers and Hypervisors to support virtual Servers and virtual machines;
13. Coordination with multiple stake holders / Third party Vendors for breakfix.
14. Flexibility to work in shifts for 24x7 support
15. Must be able to lead the critical outage calls
16. Create the Standard Operating Procedure and update the knowledge database documentation whenever required
17. Participate in weekly/ monthly/ customer meeting and provide activities report.
18. RHEL Certified

1. Good understanding of Incident Asset Problem and Change Management (ITIL Process)
