Job Title: Production Operator
Location: Jackson MN 56143
Duration: 7+ Months ("Possible Extension")
Shift : 1st shift 6:00 am 4:00 pm / 2nd Shift 4:00 pm 3:00 am
Job Summary:
- The Production Specialist exhibits professional workplace behavior which includes quality work, productive work, good attendance, and driving toward results which are achieved through good interaction skills, teamwork, flexibility, willingness to solve problems, and follows all policies and procedures.
- The ideal candidate will be producing quality parts that support TSEs mission to provide customers with product that meets their needs.
Job Core Responsibilities:
- Work safely to avoid work injuries or accidents. (i.e. personal protective equipment).
- Follows all applicable QMS documents.
- Perform to acceptable quality levels.
- Complete manufacturing paperwork, such as in labor and quality records.
- Performs manufacturing processes from Work instructions and Assembly instructions as part of an operations team.
- Perform assignments which are designated by the attached list of Production Career Ladder Matrix.
- Participates in solving problems within the scope of the position.
- Be available to achieve delivery goals.
- Participate in cross-training as applicable.
- Help with the training of other employees.
- Participates in set-up/ start-up, shut down, cleaning and general housekeeping/maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Education And Experience:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
Special Skills:
- Must be cognizant of Safety and Quality Programs and Expectations.
- Demonstrate consistent attendance & dependability.
- Commitment, cooperation & flexibility.
- Participates in team activities.
- Positive interaction with other employees and supervisory personnel.
- Reliable and cooperative in performing all duties.
- Ability to read and understand instructions, such as job routing sheets & visual aids.
- Basic use of math for necessary calculations.
- Ability to use simple measuring devices, such as metric ruler, calipers, and testers.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Participate in problem solving.
- Organization skills.
Conditions/Tools:
- Manufacturing environment-includes sitting/standing while doing process work.
- Cleanroom environment.
- Chemical handling.
- Operates tools and equipment (pliers, cutters, and hand crimpers).
- Some lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Personal Protective Equipment as required.
