The SAE Institute, Cape Town Campus, is looking for a Sound Production lecturer to teach and share your passion for the sound industry with eager young students; helping them grow individually, and ultimately playing a role in their career paths and success in life

Requirements

Responsibilities:


Facilitation in accordance with the learning outcomes as set for the course, with a focus on practical application, theoretical frameworks, workflow and

Mentor students, conduct consultations and facilitate learning

Research relevant content in order to develop learning material and lesson

Encourage learning style flexibility, meta-learning, co-operative learning, self-regulated learning and 21st Century

Evaluation, moderation, invigilation and assessment of

Keep accurate records of evidence ( attendance, assessment results).

Adhere to SAE policies and

Experience, Education and Competency:


Minimum NQF Level 8 qualification (Honours) in the field of

A Master s Degree is

A PGCHE is

Substantial experience in the field of sound ( 3 years).

Facilitation of learning experience ( 2 years).

Proficient with industry-standard equipment and software including Pro Tools, Ableton and ;

Proficient with studio mixing consoles and ;

Classroom management and workshop facilitation skills: A minimum of two years recent experience in an academic or training environment

Possess outstanding communication, interpersonal skills, administration skills, be highlyorganised and possess good time management

Ability to develop and conduct appropriate practical and theoretical assessments as well as teaching and learning materials pertinent to

Exceptional verbal and written communication

Computer

Collaborative and willing to work with fellow lecturers and the HOD to support


Must have rights to live and work in South
