Leave of Absence Social Worker Position

• Deliver comprehensive school social work services to students encountering academic obstacles or navigating social emotional or behavioral challenges.
  
• Provide essential direct and indirect support as a related service within the realm of special education.
  
• Act as a vital link between students homes the school and community providers ensuring seamless access to essential services and fostering effective collaboration.
  
• Respond promptly with crisis intervention services to address urgent situations and extend immediate assistance.
  
• Undertake various other duties aimed at enhancing the overall success and wellbeing of our school community.
  

Requirements

• Illinois licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
  
• A Masters degree in Social Work is the minimum educational requirement.
  
• Possession of a Professional Educators License (PEL) with an endorsement in either Social Work or School Support personnel is necessary
