We have offices in Z rich and Brussels. To support our current growth in Europe, we are looking for a Lead Product Designer.

Tasks

As a Lead Product Designer, you're responsible for:

• Leading a strong team of designers, and guiding them in their professional development
• Guaranteeing that Oper is consistent in terms of UX and UI, no matter the product or designer, in particular through our Design System
• Ensuring optimal user experience, through user research & user testing, via interviews, Maze, and other techniques & platforms
• Collaborating with the management in setting the design vision, strategy, workflow and team structure, to offer an amazing experience to our users
• Taking initiative where you see the need and challenging our way of thinking

You will also directly contribute to the Product:

• Working closely on solutions with the product managers and engineers, from discovery to delivery
• Designing simple, effective, and attractive solutions to complex challenges, in order to help execute the product vision and company strategy
• Communicating designs to engineers, and helping them turn it into a reality

Requirements

• 7+ years experience in a product, design or UX team, working on a (Enterprise) SaaS product, preferably in a Pre-Series B startup
• Excellent portfolio with examples of mobile & desktop design experiences
• Empathetic, strong facilitation and collaboration abilities, a flexible and friendly approach to working with teams, and the attitude to always strive for the best outcomes
• Excellent communicator of design work and the rationale behind it
• Systems thinker; you design scalable systems, not just screens
• Advanced experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma & Framer
• Familiar with Design Systems and concepts such as Atomic Design & Design Tokens
• Ability to quickly master technical skills in a fast-paced startup environment
