Job Location: Sunnyvale CA (Hybrid role 2 days a week in the office)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Java Developer to join our team for a contract position lasting at least 1 year. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in developing new features providing production support and designing robust architecture solutions. This position requires expertise in Spring Bootbased applications Kafka REST API Swagger and other related technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new features and provide daily production support for Javabased applications.
• Design build and maintain REST API services using Java Spring Hibernate and Tomcat.
• Create highly scalable low latency faulttolerant architecture solutions for web and mobile applications.
• Participate in all Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases within an Agile environment including sprint planning development testing and deployment.
• Engage in EndtoEnd Migration of backend services to Azure Cosmos DB utilizing Reactive and Adaptive programming techniques.
• Develop Unit and Automation Testing Frameworks for comprehensive testing using Selenium Mockito and JUnit.
• Troubleshoot issues enhance design and track defects using JIRA and SonarQube.
• Utilize Git Jenkins Splunk and JMeter for version control Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) monitoring and performance testing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide demos and ensure project adherence to timelines.

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in Spring Bootbased applications Kafka REST API Swagger etc.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining Javabased REST API services using Spring Hibernate and Tomcat.
• Experience in designing highly scalable low latency faulttolerant architecture solutions for web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and participation in SDLC phases.
• Familiarity with EndtoEnd Migration of backend services to cloud platforms like Azure Cosmos DB.
• Knowledge of Reactive and Adaptive programming techniques.
• Experience in developing Unit and Automation Testing Frameworks using Selenium Mockito and JUnit.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting defect tracking and enhancement using JIRA and SonarQube.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) CI/CD (Jenkins) monitoring (Splunk) and performance testing (JMeter).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders effectively.
