Lead Cyber Security Engineer - Network

Role and Responsibilities:
The Lead Cyber Security Engineer Network will be responsible for managing IT security operations overseeing security projects implementing new technologies and managing the network infrastructure. This role will involve proactively monitoring and troubleshooting network issues handling LAN and WAN problems and configuring network changes to ensure optimal application performance. The candidate will work closely with crossfunctional teams to integrate control requirements manage security projects and develop and implement a security training program based on policies. Additionally they will manage internal and external security compliance engagement activities oversee compliance requirements and communicate the compliance posture to management. Furthermore the candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing an automated control strategy and exception reporting process.

Moreover the Lead Cyber Security Engineer Network will participate in IT planning and project management formalize security processes manage the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Program and develop security policies and procedures as needed. They will also communicate and integrate control requirements with crossfunctional teams and manage document and communicate compliance requirements and timelines to supporting teams and leadership.

Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field along with 8 years of overall Enterprise IT Security experience. A strong understanding of IT controls security concepts and relevant security certifications such as OSCP ISC2 CISSP SANS CEH etc. would be advantageous. Furthermore the candidate should demonstrate excellent decisionmaking analytical and written communication skills. They should have indepth knowledge of network security controls PCI/DSS ISO 27002 SOC 2 and technical controls. Experience in IT systems networking infrastructure multifactor authentication intrusion detection threat intelligence and security policies is essential.
