Lead Business Analyst

Our direct client is looking for a Lead Business Analyst in Jackson MS (Hybrid) (C2C/1099).

Job Title: Lead Business Analyst

Type: Contract

Location: Jackson MS

Work closely with MDCPS and vendor project teams (Development OCM Testing Training etc.) to ensure that Business Process documentation aligns with project objectives and timelines.
Provide expertise in process mapping modeling techniques and best practices transition knowledge and documentation.
Conduct workshops and interviews where required to address potential gaps in futurestate Business Process and / or Methods & Procedures documentation
Support the implementation of process improvements by providing guidance and documentation to relevant stakeholders.

Your Experience

Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems or a related field

Required

Proven experience as a Business Process Modeler or similar role

Required

Proficiency in using business process modeling tools (e.g. Visio Lucid chart or dedicated BPM tools)

Required

Strong understanding of business process modeling notations particularly BPMN

Required

Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills

Required

Effective communication and collaboration abilities

Required

Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma CMMI) is preferred

Required

State Government experience and specific experience in DHS or Child Welfare domains is preferred

Required

Detailoriented with a focus on producing highquality deliverables

Required

Experience leading a team of business analysts performing similar duties

Required

Experience working on child welfare projects
