Lead Applications Architect

Position Overview:

The Lead Applications Architect holds an advancedlevel role within the Production Technology department responsible for designing developing and maintaining software applications to meet the organizations needs. This position is pivotal in contributing to the development and implementation of software solutions aimed at enhancing business processes and supporting company initiatives. Key objectives include delivering highquality software products ensuring timely project completion and providing outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

1. Software Development: Lead software development projects including designing developing testing and deploying software applications in alignment with project requirements and objectives.
2. Meetings: Actively participate in team and project meetings to discuss project progress identify roadblocks and collaborate on solutions to ensure project success.
3. Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews of team members work to ensure adherence to coding standards and identify any errors or areas for improvement.
4. Research and Training: Stay abreast of new technologies tools and best practices in software development through ongoing research and training activities to continually enhance skills and expertise.
5. Support Tickets/Issues: Address and resolve support tickets or issues related to software applications providing timely and effective solutions to endusers.
6. Team Mentoring: Provide guidance support and feedback to team members fostering their professional development and helping them enhance their skills knowledge and expertise.

Preferred Experience:

1. Software Development Experience: 10 years of previous experience working as a software applications developer with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
2. Full Stack Development Skills: Experience working in an agile Full Stack Development environment using Visual Studio 2022 with proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript HTML CSS/SCSS SQL and C#.
3. Database and Data Modeling: Advanced experience with database and data modeling tools particularly Microsoft SQL Server.
4. Realtime Communication Platforms: Advanced experience with realtime communication platforms including RESTful APIs WebServices and WebSockets.
5. Frontend JavaScript Frameworks: Advanced experience with frontend JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as Angular and Node.JS.

Preferred Knowledge Skills and amp; Abilities:

1. Education: Bachelors degree in computer science information technology or related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
2. Advanced Degrees/Certifications: Possession of advanced degrees or domainspecific certifications is preferred.
3. Framework Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of frameworks such as .NET Framework ASP.NET and .Net Core.
4. API Technologies: Advanced knowledge of API technologies including REST SOAP XML JSON and OAuth.
5. Source Code Control/Versioning: Advanced knowledge of source code control/versioning tools such as Git and Azure DevOps.
6. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to establish strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
7. Time Management: Excellent time management skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
8. Problem Solving: Exceptional problemsolving analytical planning and organizational skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
