Type: 6 months contract on W2

SafetySensitive Job: Yes

Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00am4:00pm. OT is during the weekend and is typically voluntary. OT could turn to mandatory if needed.

Job Details:

Under direct supervision the Technician may perform a variety of routine laboratory operations. Full training on operating small reactors or kilo lab equipment. The individual should be comfortable around chemical compounds and able/willing to handle these according to standard operating procedures. Able to set up and turn off laboratory equipment safely. Good record keeping for processes may be needed.

This is an entrylevel position but some experience and knowledge in the handling of chemicals or performing chemical reactions in laboratory settings are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures that safety procedures required PPE and housekeeping are maintained.
  • Conducts work in a manner that protects themselves coworkers and the environment.
  • Follow established work procedures.
  • Required to learn all operating systems and able to shut them down without supervision in the case of any emergency.
  • The position involves blending measuring and producing raw materials to produce OLED products.
  • You will work in a production environment with a high level of safety awareness and adhere to all appropriate safety procedures in place.


Qualifications

  • High School graduate/equivalent or associate degree.
  • Excellent communication skills and able to communicate well between shifts as needed.
  • Ability to lift upto 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
  • Familiarity in a production or laboratory environment.
  • Chemical and manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and high level of safety awareness.
  • Attention to detail and documentation skills and excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong problem solving initiative and knowledge of PC applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work and in a teamoriented environment.
  • Ability to work Tuesday to Saturday or Wednesday to Sunday as the main schedule.


PPE: Any required PPE will be supplied by client
