Year 2 Teacher September2024

We areworking with a vibrant and fun primary school based in Oxford Oxfordshire that is seeking a proactive and emotionally intelligent Year 2 teacher for April 2024. The children are hardworking caring inquisitive and imaginative and the staff here aspire to develop wellrounded confident pupils through a supportive pastoral environment. Hence we are seeking a primary teacher who knows how to drive attainment and create engaging lessons.

Responsibilities of a Year 2 teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging and effective classes to Year 2 students based on the National Curriculum.

Provide ongoing feedback and support to Year 2 students to encourage growth and development.

Create a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.

Use data to inform teaching decisions and adapt instruction to meet the needs of all learners.

Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on Year 2 student progress.

Attend and contribute to staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Suitable Applicants Must Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Proven experience teaching Year 2 in a primary school setting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Dedication to providing highquality education to children.

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across various departments and schools.

Strong organizational and planning abilities.
