Looking for an exciting opportunity to become Key Account Area Manager and make a real impact in the medical DNA testing industry

GenePlanet a global leader in the field of preventive genetic tests specializing in NIPT cancer screening and lifestyle DNA tests is looking for an ambitious Key Account Area Manager to develop and drive companys business in one of its new regional clusters.

With a presence in 35 markets worldwide and a passionate team of over 150 employees GenePlanet collaborates with over 1000 medical centers doctors and insurance companies to provide topquality tests based on the latest scientific discoveries. Our tests are designed to empower individuals to take control of their and their babys health as well as assist doctors with therapeutic procedures.

We are seeking a selfdriven energetic and resultsoriented professional to join our team as Key Account Area Manager responsible for coordinating and developing a regional cluster of existing and new markets.

Tasks

Your key responsibilities as Key Account Area Manager for Medical Genetic Testing will include:

  • Supervision and coordination of GenePlanets business in several existing local markets
  • Opening GenePlanets business in new markets (initial research; setting up the business model; initial recruitment training and onboarding of local team; contracting new partners etc.)
  • Codevelopment and implementation of longerterm growth business strategy in local markets
  • Coordinating and supporting Country Managers in setting up and developing GenePlanets local business
  • Execution of Annual Plans against defined set of targets and activities and within agreed budgets to ensure revenue and profitability growth for the company
  • Development and coordination of regional and local market educational and promotional programs for partners and Key Opinion Leaders to promote GenePlanets products and services
  • Conducting trainings and educational activities to ensure that both the internal local sales team and external partners have a strong understanding of GenePlanets products and services especially those in the field of gynecology obstetrician IVF and oncology
  • Continuously monitoring the competitive landscape and proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • 5 years of international experience in business development and new product launches
  • Strategic thinking coupled with strong implementation skills
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead international teams to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being able to act independently when engaging with key market stakeholders
  • Excellent selling networking and negotiation skills to help build strong business relationships with local teams and partners.
  • Proficiency in English and one of the following languages (German French Spanish) is a must

Having the following qualifications would be an advantage :

  • Experience in medical / laboratory / pharma business development
  • Medical background and/or working experience in the fields of gynecology & obstetrics;
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry particularly in private healthcare sector
  • Proficiency in any additional language
