Role and Responsibilities

Proven experience in designing implementing and managing Apache Kafka and Confluent Kafka clusters in production environments.

Strong understanding of Kafka architecture components and configurations.

Handson experience with Confluent Kafka components including Kafka Streams KSQL Schema Registry and Connect.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python or Scala and Go.

Experience with Kafka security protocols encryption and Confluent Platform security features.

Knowledge of monitoring tools for Kafka such as Confluent Control Center or others.

Proficient in scripting languages for automation with experience in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced agile environment.

Excellent communication skills to interact with different teams and stakeholders.

Stay updated on the latest Kafka developments including features such as Apache Flink and updates from both Apache Kafka and Confluent.
