K-8 SLP - Speech Therapy Services Needed Immediately

Location: Venice Florida

Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours per week

Setting: School Based (K8th grade kiddos)

Start Date: Immediately

Description:

We are currently seeking a full time Speech Language Pathologist to service a caseload of elementary to middle school kiddos. This position will guarantee the candidate full time hours until the end of the school year with the ability to renew dependent upon performance.

The SLP will be responsible for planning and preparing student individualized education plans. We are looking for someone who can work well with parents and other staff members to help formulate plans that will effectively diagnose and treat speech delays on the caseload. The SLP will also be required to attend Professional Development classes that will be conducted by the school district.

Requirements

• Masters Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
  
• Must have a Speech Pathology license in the state of Florida
  
• Must hold or be eligible to apply for an ASHA certification
