BlackRidge Group is currently hiring for one of its clients in Luxembourg seeking a Junior IT Help Desk.

Role:

  • Provide firstline technical support to end users troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Install configure and maintain Workstation and Windows Server System including Active Directory DNS DHCP.
  • Monitor system performance identify and resolve potential issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Deploy and manage software applications across our Windows network.
  • Create and maintain user accounts and access permissions.
  • Document IT procedures and processes.
  • Collaborate with senior system administrators on complex technical projects.
  • Deploy and manage IT hardware (laptop phone network etc.).
  • Assist with the management of critical infrastructure systems (backups licenses etc.).

Profile:

  • Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • 1 years of experience in Windows Server administration.
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server operating system and Workstation including Active Directory DNS and DHCP.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or HyperV.
  • Good troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent language skills in English with French and/or German considered an asset.
