Main Duties:

• Assist in gathering/preparing data from various sources ensuring its accuracy completeness and consistency
• Develop data models and pipelines to support research and reporting activities specific to the companys operations and performance
• Ensure the accessibility and timeliness of data while maintaining high data quality standards including data cleansing and validation
• Automate tasks related to data collection processing and transformation
• Identify and resolve bugs or performance issues in data pipelines and processes
• Design and maintain final dashboards in tools like Tableau or Metabase tailored to specific users within the company
• Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments understand their data requirements and deliver solutions
• Implement data governance processes and standards specific to the companys data to ensure data consistency accuracy and security
• Monitor and optimize data pipelines data storage and data processing infrastructure to ensure performance scalability and reliability

What skills do you need

• A bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related discipline
• No previous experience is required but relevant internships or projects related to data engineering would be beneficial
• Experience in building or maintaining ETL process SQL database architecture Python familiarity with data visualization tools
• Proficient in SQL for querying and manipulating data in relational databases
• Knowledge of database architecture principles and best practices
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python for data manipulation and scripting
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau Metabase or similar for creating interactive dashboards and reports
• Strong communication skills in English and preferably Greek
• Excellent administrative skills to document processes maintain documentation and track data engineering tasks
• Problemsolving skills attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and analysis
• Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis reporting and presentations

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
